I also spend time as a mortgage broker and loan consultant with a direct mortgage lender, so I can manage all aspects of the home buying process. As a lifetime resident of Orange County, I have a familiarity with aspects of life in the region, from schools and neighborhoods to the most current housing trends. Married with two kids (a girl and a boy), I enjoy family time, watching, participating and coaching my kid’s sports teams, and volunteering with our church.

Our rates are very competitive to begin with, but when you are using Canyon Realty as your Realtor® I’m able to credit an additional portion of the commission to give you an even better deal.


The Loan Process – The loan process is probably the most stressful part of buying a home and its typically what makes or breaks the deal. Having a Realtor® who is also an expert on lending is a HUGE benefit to you as a buyer. 


- Pre-Approval: I personally work with you to gather up all the income/asset data the lender will need and review/pre-underwrite everything for you. If there is anything outside-the-box about the deal I have it approved by the underwriter and underwriting manager who are in the offices adjacent to mine.  I will have the pre-approval done within 24 hours and it’s a pre-approval that is completely underwritten which means much better than what you get from just calling up your typical bank/lender.  Other realtors (listing agents) know this which is why I have a much higher average than most getting your offer accepted.


 - Underwriting: I work with the same team of underwriters each time, which means there are never any surprises that come up during the underwriting process.  I know exactly what the underwriter is going to do and how they will look at your situation.  Anything that could/would be a surprise with another lender would have already been handled by myself and the underwriter during the pre-approval process.  There will never be a problem with the buyers during underwriting. Could there be a problem related to the property that arises? Of course, but we do our best to address any potential concerns as early as possible into each escrow and most of the time at the initial showing.


- Funding: Crestline Funding is a direct lender, which means we underwrite and fund in house and we don’t have to rely on another company to do that for us.  The lenders we work with on the broker side table fund, which means once docs go out and get signed it funds exactly as planned every time. We are in control of the process from start to finish, which allows us to be more accountable to meet all our escrow timing requirements.


It’s not by coincidence that our buyers and listing agents we work with end up thanking us for an incredibly easy and painless transaction. We have the knowledge and system in place to ensure this happens every time.
